Simple<\/span><\/strong>QB<\/strong><\/span><\/span> is a powerful tool for exchanging data between any database and any QuickBooks transaction. It works with Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong> by sharing a common database where document data is stored. Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong> exports document indexes to the database, then Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> imports that data into QuickBooks.<\/p>\n

The database can also be used to find and view documents linked to transactions in QuickBooks<\/p>\n

Because of this open design, Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> can be used with any scanning application or database, including more advanced software that can recognize line items and other repeating elements on invoices.<\/p>\n

Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> can also add a Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong> scanning and viewing menu to QuickBooks. Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> will automatically index scanned documents or files on your network using information from the current transaction such as Customer Name or Invoice Number. A second interface lets you view images associated with the current customer, vendor, or transaction in Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Unlike other QuickBooks scanning applications, Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> comes with the full power of Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong>. While scanning from within QuickBooks is efficient for day-forward operation, historical documents can be scanned more efficiently using the automation features of Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong>. These files can be added to the Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> database and viewed from within QuickBooks.<\/p>\n

Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> can be used with Simple<\/span>Index<\/span><\/strong> Basic<\/span> for indexing from QuickBooks, or add OCR and barcode recognition for efficient batch scanning and data entry automation.<\/p>\n

Additional users can view documents from QuickBooks using SimpleSearch<\/span><\/strong>. Only one Simple<\/span>QB<\/span><\/strong> license is required for all QuickBooks users.<\/p>\n
