Cloud based AWS file system as the foundation

Development of Sys.tm started with mimicking the MS Windows file system on the AWS platform.  A true cloud-based shared file system complete with Active Control Lists that allow Sys.tm to provide very granular and extensive security was built.  This cloud file system is also fully integrated with the Microsoft file system on the desktop.  The concept of “File Sync and Share” allowing Sys.tm to seamlessly integrate desktop and server file systems with our cloud file system was implemented.   Sys.tm also allows for extensive metadata to be added to files of all types.

  • Create a true file system with Active Control Lists (ACL) on AWS infrastructure.
  • Mimic and Integrate with the MS Windows file system.
  • Provide very granular security.
  • Work with multiple users accessing the same shared file system in the cloud.
  • Support enhanced file metadata in the cloud file system.
  • “File Sync and Share”

Leverage AWS – Complexity hidden

They Sys.tm infrastructure has been built but is operating behind the scenes while the customers sees a very simple and clean user interface.  Sys.tm is scalable and redundant while leveraging AWS functionality and the microservice built by Digitech Systems.

  • Event queuing at the core for scalability and recoverability
  • Lamdas – Comparable to a virtual machine.   House a single API or a single function call.  Small and extremely scalable.  If an instance is in use, AWS automatically spins up another instance.
  • Automatically scalable and redundant!

Sys.tm integrated with existing products

  • PaperVision Capture to Sys.tm
  • PaperFlow to Sys.tm
  • Ability to import data groups
  • “Drag and drop” file folders
  • Becomes part of Windows File Explorer
